Become active yourself

Would you like to look for plants, deepen your knowledge and share your observations? You decide how much time you want to invest — outdoors in nature, indoors identifying plants, alone or with others.

Why take part?

  • Because it’s fun to be out and about together
  • Because you can learn a lot in the process
  • Because every report helps to expand our knowledge of the flora in Graubünden

Your contribution

Discover and report plants — every discovery counts.

  • Complete missions — search specifically for rare or missing species
  • Inventory areas — e.g. in 5 km × 5 km squares or with 100 m × 100 m flash inventories
  • Photography — of plants, habitats, landscapes or excursions
  • Processing historical finds — digitizing and locating old find reports
  • Contribute to the book project — e.g. write texts or species portraits
  • The work is voluntary

Your requirements

  • Curiosity and enjoyment of the plant world
  • Previous knowledge is an advantage, but not essential

Whether beginner or professional — all contributions are welcome.

Excursion Val-Sampuoir
